1. Standard group width, step width, step height and applicable seats
(1) Group width:
The standard minimum unit group width (main support span) is: 452*8 = 3616mm and 1220*3 = 3660mm.
(2) Step width: 720mm/840mm.
(3) Step height: 250mm/300mm.
(4) Applicable seats:
The metal grandstand can be configured with integrated blow-molded chairs such as Nova, Eco-L, Eco-M and bench seats. According to seat sizes or customer requirements, it can be configured on metal grandstands with different step heights and widths. The width of the grandstand passage should be set as the width of 2-3 seats.
(5) The above are standard structural parameters.
Customized non-standard structural grandstands can also be made according to the specific requirements of customers. The maximum left-right span of the bracket is: 4000mm. The maximum front-back spacing of the column is: 2000mm. If the first row of the grandstand needs to be designed with a heightened elevation due to sightline requirements, the heightening should not exceed 2 meters.
2. Introduction to grandstand system structure
Structural composition: It is composed of a bottom steel structure support system, a pedal system, a seat system, a safety protection system, etc.
(1) Bottom steel structure support system:
Inclined beam - Welded from 50*50*5mm angle steel and 160*80*3.75mm rectangular tube.Column - Three different materials can be used to deal with different site conditions: 120*60*3.75mm rectangular tube can be used for hard ground with high site flatness; φ48*3 round tube scaffold-type height-adjustable columns are suitable for complex site ground (low flatness, with slopes, etc.); 150*150*7*10 H-shaped steel columns are suitable for grandstand series with high number of layers, large load-bearing, and functional room requirements at the bottom (H-shaped steel column models need to be used with H-shaped steel inclined beams).High-strength bolts are used for connection between columns and inclined beams. Transversely and longitudinally, there are angle steel diagonal bracing or cross bracing. The column and the ground can be fixed by conical nut pulling and exploding.
(2) Pedal system:
The general configuration of metal grandstands is aluminum alloy pedals. The material is 6063 aluminum alloy. The surface is treated with anodic oxidation. The surface is designed with concave-convex textures, which have anti-slip and drainage functions. Indoor metal grandstands can also be matched with 18mm thick laminated wood pedals.
(3) Seat system:
Integrated blow-molded chairs such as Nova, Eco-L, Eco-M. The seats can be installed in a flat or vertical way.
(4) Safety protection system:
The safety protection system includes rear guardrails and side guardrails. The height of the guardrails is not less than 1100mm, fully ensuring the safety of personnel. The guardrail material is welded from rectangular tube 40*40*2.0mm and φ12*1.5 round tube. The structure is stable, with less materials. The simple guardrail can save costs.
3. Structural load-bearing requirements
The designed permanent load of the grandstand is 500N/㎡, and the designed value of live load is 4000N/㎡. The design safety factor is 1.5. The influences of wind load, snow load, etc. on the structure are fully considered to ensure the safety of the entire system. The guardrail should be able to withstand a uniformly distributed lateral static load of 2000N/m. In addition to these parameters, all factors that may affect structural safety will be taken into account.
4. Steel surface treatment
There can be multiple choices for steel surface treatment methods: hot-dip galvanizing, powder spraying, or powder spraying after hot-dip galvanizing. Generally, hot-dip galvanizing treatment is done. In indoor environments, powder spraying can be used for treatment. According to needs, powder spraying can be carried out after hot-dip galvanizing.
